My care a Aurora Behavioral Health San Diego was not a bad experience I was on 5150 Nov 9 2018 I left before the 3 day hold. Ray the RN is very kind and the other RNs.They had classes to keep you engaged to help with your therapy and that you were not just sitting around do nothing. The food was ok and you could have as much hot coco that I wanted that's a plus right there they should get fat free hot coco packs too. I even brought my own hot coco that's how much I like hot coco it was fat free but I wasn't able to drink my own out side food but that's ok. If I need some thing the nurses were all welling to help me on the spot or as soon as they could and they did forget eithers. The Doctors were ok didn't get to know them. The case managers do need to show more true kindness. Even after treatment Aurora Behavioral Health San Diego is there to listen to you with respect. If I ever need help with depression or other reason Aurora Behavioral Health of San Diego would be my first choice. Cheryl Fletcher

This place literally changed my life in the sense that it gave me tools that I never had access to before. I'm a 24 year old male who had severe depression, chemical dependency and suicidal tendencies before cheching in here the end of October. It's now the beginning of January and soon to be the end of my outpatient program for me and I can tell you that although the staff can use some work in regards to how they treat their patients who haven't had the guidance on how to speak to people appropriately... they do their best to try and make things work! I think if people were more mindful of how much it costs to be here almost $500 per day, perhaps they'd take things more serious? Not only that, I've learned the secret of mindfulness while being here and have had much practice the past couple months learning that it takes doing the work(i.e. such as meditating everyday and creating that good habit) in order to reap the benefits. Also, they have a family group meetings Wednesdays and Thursdays @ 6 if you want to CONTINUE more treatment. With a therapist or counselor!! This place is AMAZING in my opinion. The reason I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because of the partial lack in customer training (i.e. counselors and therapists leaving their emotions at the door every day) 😀

The best torture experience i've ever been through. if anyone who doesn't like you wants to evade your presence, drop them off here. they'll teach ur runaway wife - not to run no more - real quick. they got a plethora of torture devices - some of which you can even sit in on. electrocution torture, organ malfunction, simple beatings, strip searches, and even mob attacks by guest appearance patients. but really. if ur wife thinks she'll do better without you. drop her off here for a few weeks. let her think about leaving you again. only 4 stars not 5 cuz they don't do actual killings on this site.

My Son is there. Im so very happy he is recieving the help he needs. Great Staff . My son has been there before when he was younger. Thank you. Thank you .Thank you for having a bed for him in the Name of Jesus. I like what one of the staff said to my son when he was last there. We are here for you. If you need to come back. We are here. I love my son with all of my heart.I want for him to be able to succeed in life.Thank you Aurora. We love you.

I was a patient there and the rules are really dumb because I want to communicate with the friends I made there and they put me in a 10 foot for writing down phone numbers. Rules are stupid but you get the help you need.

Aurora is a tremendous resource for the community. It's inpatient facilities and it's outpatient group counseling should be mandatory for anyone wanting to better understand themselves.

So far everyone we've encountered at Aurora has been wonderful. Phil who is a part of the PHP program is great along with Eric the case social worker. They have made this difficult time a bit better with their understanding and compassion. Thank you to the staff of Aurora for your assistance!

So far is been a great place to start to get life back on track I understand peoples frustration when the loves illness is out of the control, that exactly how I felt but u have to understand it a day at a time process. if your going through a rough about leaving them here I did too I though I did the wrong thing by leaving my brother here then I stated to small positive change in him. I also learn that he will have good and bad day s and he had to fight back to get his thoughts and life together. All we can do if be strong and positive for and to let know how brave, proud and impress you are to see then take initiative to help them selfs to a normal life again! Staff is chill very respectful I'm glad I made this desiossion even though at first I feels like its not . Keep you head your guys are not the only one going through this remember H. O. P. E HOLD ON.
